I designed the website in Figma and built it using WordPress, aligning with MTO’s branding and accessibility standards. The platform presents two major studies—Study #1 and Study #2—covering approximately 26 km and 29 km of the corridor respectively, across multiple municipalities.

FIGMA AND WordPress
I introduced card-based layouts to present content in visually digestible sections, allowing users to quickly identify categories such as “Studies,” “Reports,” and “Public Meetings.” Each section was designed to highlight key consultation updates and link users directly to feedback opportunities, helping to increase public engagement. To further encourage participation, I also designed a sign-up banner at the bottom to promote public consultation opportunities and newsletter subscriptions.
Another challenge was ensuring the site remained responsive and accessible within WordPress while meeting government AODA standards. I refined the hierarchy, typography, and spacing in Figma before development, then tested each component for readability and interaction clarity across devices.
