Challenges
I have helped the Chinese Essence Medicine Company to build a business website with the online booking system.
Mainly developed on the Landing Page, About Us Page, Doctor Information Page, Services Page, Booking Doctor Appointment Page, and Contact Us Page.
The main issue was the client was too choosy, she rejected 3 designers’ mockups.
Result
I tried to understand the client’s requirements and studied their background history. I have drafted the wireframes and customized the unique elements that matched the company image of modern style and traditional Chinese culture, like using brushing patterns to design the titles, banners and doctors team info boxes.

Colors and UI Elements
I chose the primary and secondary colours which are matched their logo. And the primary colours are used for the main button and content. The secondary colours are just used for the brush pattern, button hover, and image backgrounds.
I customized the unique elements that matched the company image with the modern style and traditional Chinese culture, like using brushing patterns to design the titles, banners and doctors team info boxes.
I like using data to back up my design decisions. I usually look at things like user behavior, conversion rates, and site traffic to see what’s really working.
For example, with SEO, I check the keywords to adjust the content, layout, and visuals to improve rankings and the overall user experience.
That way, my designs don’t just look good — they actually help meet business goals and connect better with the audience.
